Plane / Airport
The most comfortable and quickest way to get to Mallorca is by plane. The international Son Sant Joan airport is the third largest airport in Spain, after Madrid and Barcelona.
Dozens of planes land at Son Sant Joan every day. They come from Spanish cities and European countries such as Germany, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Switzerland, Holland, Denmark, Scandinavia, etc.
The main regular, charter and low-cost airlines operate from Palma Airport.
Palma has daily connections with the main Spanish and European cities and also with the twin islands of Ibiza and Menorca.
Palma Airport is linked via motorway with the city centre. Only 10 km separate the Balearic capital and the airport.
A regular EMT bus line (Nº 17) links the airport with Plaça d’Espanya every 20 minutes, from where you can take a bus or a train to any destination on the island.
